How do I book a filming location through FilmLV?
Browse our directory, identify locations that interest you, and contact us via phone (702-706-1885) or our contact form. We'll check availability, arrange a location scout if desired, and handle the booking logistics. There's no obligation or booking fee.
What does it cost to use FilmLV's services?
There is no fee to use our directory or contact us about locations. Pricing is set by the hour for each property and is listed on every location page. We earn a commission on completed bookings — this is included in the listed rate, not an additional charge to you.
Do I need a filming permit in Las Vegas?
Most filming in Clark County requires a permit from the Clark County Film Office. Desert locations on BLM or state park land require additional permits. Our team handles all permit coordination as part of the booking process.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend 2-3 weeks minimum for most locations. Popular properties (luxury homes, The Foundry Studios) may require 4-6 weeks advance booking. For large productions requiring multiple locations, start the conversation as early as possible.
Are the property addresses listed publicly?
No — we do not publish exact property addresses to protect our property owners' privacy and security. Location addresses are shared only after a booking inquiry is confirmed and a location scout is scheduled.
What happens if my shoot runs over the booked time?
Overtime is billed at the standard hourly rate. We build buffer time into our scheduling recommendations to minimize this. If you anticipate needing extra time, let us know in advance and we'll adjust the booking.
Can I bring my own catering and equipment?
Yes — productions bring their own equipment and catering to all locations. Some properties have specific guidelines about cooking, wet work, or smoke effects that we'll discuss during the booking process.
Do you offer location scouting services?
Yes — we provide guided location scouts where our team walks you through properties, discusses production logistics, and helps you evaluate spaces for your specific needs. Contact us to schedule a scout.
What if I need a location that isn't in your directory?
Our directory represents our core listings, but we have relationships throughout the valley. Tell us what you need and we'll search our network for properties that match — even if they're not publicly listed.
How do I list my property with FilmLV?
